Safeguarding

The Benefice of Buckrose Carrs recognises that each person is a beloved child of God and made in God's image. We recognise that our duty of stewardship to the whole of creation extends to safeguarding those who are most vulnerable in our communities and supporting those who have been hurt by members of the Church.

We have adopted the Church of England’s robust procedures and guidelines which can be found here: Church of England Safeguarding

If a child or adult is in immediate danger, or requires immediate medical attention, call emergency services on 999.

If there is no immediate risk of harm

Jacquelyn Wood is our Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) and is your local first point of contact to report a safeguarding concern.
